Chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy (CIPN) is a common negative side effect that limits the use of neurotoxic chemotherapy agents such as Taxol, Vincristine and Cisplatin. The development of innovative therapies that can protect the peripheral nerves without impairing the action of the chemotherapy agent is among one of the latest strategies in the market to tackle CIPN.
